Our family lives in General Tinio in the Nueva Ecija province. Our mother / mother-in-law had a house in the district of Enrica Village that time.
General Tinio is located on the island of Luzon in the province of Nueva Ecija and has no connection to the sea.It has almost 50,000 inhabitants and is located at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains. The next bigger cities are Gapan City and Cabanatuan City. It was known as Papaya until 1957.
The Nueva Ecija Province is the largest rice producer in the Philippines.There are also large mango and banana plantations.
The Dream Water Resort water park is located in the neighboring municipality of Penaranda, but it's no more existing now.
